In early 2009, the Intech Group of companies took part in an interesting project related to the development of initial technical requirements for a deaeration plant designed for the boiler room of the 1st stage of the TANECO oil refinery complex in Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan.
This project was implemented by FLUOR engineering company (Houston, USA), which was the general designer of the future refinery complex.
FLUOR has announced a competitive procedure for manufacturers of deaeration equipment for the right to conclude a contract for the supply of a complete set of equipment for a deaeration plant. Both Russian participants and well-known global manufacturers, in particular the Dutch company STORK, took part in the competitive procedure. A prerequisite for the competition was to ensure that the final oxygen content in deaerated water was less than 10 micrograms per liter. There were also requirements for mandatory translation of all developed documentation into English and the possibility of integrating technology that ensures consistently high quality of deaeration into the automated control system being developed.
The Intechservice company assumed the corresponding obligations and, following the results of competitive procedures, was selected as a supplier of deaeration equipment. Technological schemes developed and adapted to the requirements of the FLUOR integrator company became the basis of the solution that made it possible to achieve success in solving the task set by the Customer.
As a result of the project, it was possible to achieve all the goals set, in particular, the oxygen level in the deaerated water was less than 10 micrograms per liter, and the equipment was operating stably in modes from 25 to 110% of its nominal capacity.
