To purify low-pressure compressed air from moisture, a vortex gas dynamic separator VGS 1-06.1 was put into trial operation at Intechservice LLC.
The separator was installed on the compressed air supply line to consumers after 2 VK-50E compressors with a capacity of 5.5 m3/min each. Prior to the installation of the separator, the compressed air in the sandblasting and painting areas contained a large amount of moisture (measured at 3 g/m3).
After installing the HCV 1-06.1 vortex gas dynamic separator, the compressed air meets the requirements of GOST 9.010-80 in terms of moisture content, according to the results of measurements - 0.7 g/m3.
Trial operation revealed that the purification of compressed air after the installation of the separator is quite effective, which allowed us to conclude that the HCV 1-06.1 vortex gas-dynamic separator has been purchased for permanent use.
